Spring began with the brilliant vitamin colors in Tokyo. Green, yellow and orange are decorated cheerfully in the window. The trend of Designer Collections is reflected, and it tells the arrival of the season with beautiful colors and pleasant prints. On the other hand, spring garments sale isn't active by one now, and spring coats make little progress. The coat in a beautiful color of this year is cheerful to see, but is it the intention of the consumer who hesitates when it becomes purchase? These colors are easy to accept in the summer dress, but it may be difficult for coat as a real cloth even if it is fresh. Surprisingly a hit goes for the Mods coat and the long parka than the trench coat that has previous year's result. The shirts and blouses sell good, and puff sleeves are new. Inner use and feminine taste are popular such as the bow collar and the pleats or frill of the front. A change in sleeves is continuing from the last fall, but this spring, the bell sleeves are shifted to the puff sleeves. Then, puff sleeves are seen also in a jacket and a coat. The set-up suits and a jacket for the occasion use that are the regular items of this time sell well, too. As the town style, the long & short layered style of the jacket length and the sleeve length by the short jacket seems to be established. Well, going to summer, want to be a beaming summer with the POP style print, but a sporty taste and simple & mannish seem to get strong more. The vest is the key item, and flow to the 80's classic & mannish style that will be connected to the Fall & Winter may quicken. |
